I love maths and enjoy making maths interesting for children.
I believe that maths is a fun and exciting subject - once you have been taught everything you need to know for the stage that you are at - otherwise it can be impossible and overwhelming!
I am PhD qualified in Statistics and I have a first class honours degree in Statistics. The practical advantage of this is that I am comfortable with maths and can take a variety of approaches to explain things in a way that works for the student.
I am married to Monica and we have twin children Alfie and Freya (born 2009). We live in Tunbridge Wells, Kent . Almost all of my current students are from the Tunbridge Wells area - most are word of mouth recommendations.
I have done many magic shows for children and I have also done some stand up comedy. This has helped me learn about engaging audiences!!
